Email Forwarding

On your admin panel you may setup email forwarding.  If you wish to have your mail leave the server and arrive in another email account you already have you may use email forwards.  Just enter the address in the "forward email to" field on your admin panel.

Forwarding to multiple email addresses is possible. Make a file in the home directory of the account you wish to forward email for called ".forward".  The home directory is the one you are in when you first ftp to the server. Place the email address you wish to forward to in the .forward file. For example:

email1@aol.com
email2@prodigy.net

Autoresponders

An autoresponder is a simple way of setting up an email address which will return a message automatically when someone sends email to it.  You may set these up using your admin panels.  Click the check box next to the "vacation / autoresponder email reply" field.  Type the message you want automatically sent in the text box.  To disable, uncheck the box.

Majordomo / Mail Lists

You may setup mail lists in your site admin panel under list management.  List the email addresses you wish to send mail to in the text box.  The mailing list name is the email address you must email your message to.  For example, if your mailing list name is mylist1 then email sent to mylist1@yourdomain.com will be sent out to everyone on your mailing list.
